Mari Taipale

Mari Taipale has a wealth of experience in the field of technology. Mari began their career in 1996 as a Product Development Engineer for Rolls at Valmet Corporation. In 1997, they moved to Metso Paper and held three roles, including Paper Technology Manager, Process Technology Specialist for Coaters, and Product Development Engineer for Formers. From 2007 to 2015, they worked at Kemira, first as Manager of Paper Surface Chemistry, R&D, and Technology Paper, and then as Principal R&D Leader for the Fibre Line. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as Manager of New Technologies at Oy Chemec Ab. Finally, since 2019, they have been a Board Member at Helsingin Luistelijat ry. Most recently, they have been the Chief Operating Officer at CH-Bioforce Oy since 2016.

Mari Taipale began their educational journey in 1986 when they completed their Matriculation examination at Kupittaan Lukio High School in Turku. Mari then continued their studies at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 1989 to 1996, earning their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Paper Technology and Polymer Technology. During their time at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, they also completed a program at Grenoble INP - UGA in the field of Ecole Française de Papeterie et des industries Graphiques from 1993 to 1994.
