Christian Höglund

Christian Hung is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in machine learning and economics. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at CoStar Group, Christian previously worked as an Applied Scientist at Uber, where notable achievements included optimizing resource allocation through predictive modeling and implementing machine learning models that significantly reduced manual processes. Prior to that, Christian contributed as an Instructor of Economics at Miami University and held various academic roles at Vanderbilt University, focusing on econometrics and interdisciplinary research. Christian's early career included positions at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Mather LifeWays, and an internship at IBM, showcasing a strong foundation in economic analysis and statistical techniques. Christian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy from Northwestern University, a Master of Arts in Economics, and is an ABD Ph.D. candidate in Economics from Vanderbilt University, as well as a Master of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
