Shira Smith

Shira Smith has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Shira began their career at Tufts Conference Bureau as a Budget Office Assistant in 2007, followed by a role as an Office Manager at Tufts Student Resources. In 2008, they joined Liberty Mutual Insurance as a Commercial Lines Underwriter, where they worked until 2013. In 2014, Shira transitioned to American Student Assistance, initially as a Market Research Intern before becoming an Education Outcomes Analyst. In the same year, they also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Boston University. Their most recent position is at Chadwick Martin Bailey (CMB), where they started as a Project Manager I in 2017 and progressed to become a Senior Project Manager and Insights Director.

Shira Smith pursued a Master's Degree in Applied Communication Research from Boston University, attending from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Spanish at Tufts University, studying from 2004 to 2008. During their undergraduate years, they also participated in a study abroad program at IES Barcelona for the fall semester of 2006. In terms of additional certifications, Shira obtained the following: UX Research Fundamentals from LinkedIn in February 2017, Data Visualization Storytelling Essentials from LinkedIn in October 2016, and Qualtrics Bronze Certified from Qualtrics in February 2016.
