Emily Hargraves

Emily Hargraves is an experienced outdoor education professional, currently serving as Co-Director of Outdoor Education and Outdoor Education Instructor at Chadwick School since September 2009. In addition, Emily is a Small Business Owner at Backcountry Babes, a guiding company that specializes in women’s backcountry ski and splitboard trips in diverse locations. Previously, Emily worked at Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences from August 2009 to December 2022, leading wilderness trips for students aged 11-18 and promoting personal growth through outdoor experiences. Emily's background also includes a role as a Trip Leader at Backroads from May 2011 to October 2013. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine and Studio Arts from Colorado College, completed in 2007, and is a graduate of Darien High School.
