Rooya Abid

Rooya Abid has extensive experience in the healthcare field, currently serving as a Medical Assistant at NYU Langone Health since June 2024. Rooya has held the position of Lead Medical Assistant at Chai Urgent Care since January 2016, concurrently working as a Mobile Medical Assistant with Welz and as a Laser Hair Removal Technician at both the Lia Schorr Institute of Cosmetic Skin Care Training and Laser Spa. Rooya also has experience as an Esthetician from Atelier Esthetique Institute of Esthetics. Educationally, Rooya holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Dietetics from Eastern Michigan University, along with an Associate's degree in Health Services from Borough of Manhattan Community College.
