David Gilhawley

David Gilhawley, CFA has a diverse work experience across various companies. David is currently working as the Head of Strategic Finance & Group Controlling at Chain IQ Group AG since December 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Executive Officer/Freelancer at Glendale AG from August 2023 to November 2023. David has also worked at Roland Berger as a Principal from January 2022 to July 2023 and as a Senior Project Manager from January 2013 to December 2021, where they gained extensive project experience in financial services across multiple regions. David started their career as a Summer Intern in Corporate Finance (M&A) at Deutsche Bank in July 2012. David has also held roles as a Co-Founder at IronMax GmbH from September 2008 to June 2012, an Intern at Roland Berger in August 2011, an Assistant Accountant at Linfield Trust Company from March 2006 to December 2010, a Financial Services Analyst at Anheuser-Busch InBev in July 2007, and a Collections Analyst at Accenture from June 2006 to October 2006.

David Gilhawley, CFA holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Economics and Business Administration with a focus on Banking & Finance from the University of Zurich, which they obtained between 2006 and 2012. In 2008, they also completed an exchange program at the Quinn School of Business at University College Dublin. Prior to their university studies, David obtained their Matura degree from Kantonsschule Baden in 2005. David has also earned additional certifications, including a Certificate in ESG Investing from CFA UK in 2020 and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder designation from the CFA Institute in 2017.
