Herbert Brecheis

Herbert Brecheis, born in 1969, is a CIO/CDO with a proven track record in digitalization of international companies. His career includes stints in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management and Product Management. In particular, he brings in depth experience in developing, implementing, and operating digital sourcing/procurement systems in an international environment. Additionally, he has successfully led global Category and Sourcing Teams.

Herbert was the Group CIO of RUAG (Aerospace & Defense). Before that he was the Division CIO of ABB Low Voltage Products (Power & Automation). In both capacities he has built end-to-end, future-proof digital solutions, enabling disruptive Business transformations.

Herbert holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nuremberg.

He is living in Switzerland, is married and has two teenage children.
