Chengyi Ong

Chengyi Ong currently serves as the Head of Policy (APAC) at Chainalysis Inc., a position held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Chengyi was with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) from June 2019 to January 2023, where responsibilities included leading the Domestic Markets division and acting as Deputy Director for Financial Centre Development, focusing on strategic developmental initiatives in Singapore's financial sector. Chengyi also served as an Advisor to the Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund from April 2017 to May 2019, representing Singapore and coordinating ASEAN positions on global financial issues. Earlier positions at MAS included roles as Senior Policy Analyst, Assistant Director, and Associate, where Chengyi focused on banking sector policy, international financial developments, and regulation of financial intermediaries. Chengyi holds a degree from the University of Oxford.
