Gert-Jan Hermanussen

Gert-Jan Hermanussen has a wealth of work experience, having held various roles since 1996. Gert-Jan began their career with KWPN | Royal Dutch Sport Horse, where they were a Member Stallion Selection Committee Harne, a Member Reinspection Committee Harness Horse, Chair Breeding Council Harness Horse, Member Regional Board South NL Harness Horse, and Member Breeding Council Harness Horse. From 1999 to 2012, they worked at Nutreco, where they held the roles of Category Manager Vegetable Oils, Lead Buyer Vegetable Oils & Grainbyproducts, Purchaser Raw Materials, and Commercial Specialist Hogs. Gert-Jan then moved to ForFarmers N.V., where they served as Raw Material Director and Manager Procurement from 2012 to 2019. In 2019, they joined Merletcollege, Cuijk as an Advisory Board Member. Currently, they are working as Procurement Director at Vivara/CJ Wildbird Foods and Business Development at ChainCraft.

Gert-Jan Hermanussen obtained their MSc in Animal Science - Breeding and Genetics from Wageningen University & Research between 1994 and 1999. Prior to this, they attended Merletcollege Land van Cuijk from 1987 to 1994.
