Dr. Martin Rieke

Dr. Martin Rieke has a wide range of work experience, beginning with a research internship at Keio University in 2007. Dr. Martin then worked as a research assistant at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) Műnchen in 2010, followed by a High Performance Computing Software Engineer role at Lloyd's of London in 2013. In 2015, they took on a Quantitative Analyst role at Credit Suisse, before founding Covariant Labs in 2017. From 2019 to 2023, they held the roles of Chief Science Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Finoa, before becoming the Chief Technology Officer of Chainflip Labs GmbH.

Dr. Martin Rieke received their PhD in Theoretical Physics from Ruhr University Bochum in 2013, after completing their Diploma in Theoretical Physics from Ruhr-Universität Bochum in 2010.
