Kim Lewandowski has had a long and varied career in the tech industry. Kim began their career in 2003 as a Software Engineer at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, where they developed interactive Java tutorials for optical microscopy, digital imaging, and photomicrography for Nikon and Olympus. In 2005, they moved to Florida State University, where they were a Teaching Assistant. In 2007, they became a Software Engineer at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. In 2010, they joined SimpleGeo as a Software Engineer. In 2011, they founded Spotwag, a company that connects pet owners with people they trust for boarding help. The company was acquired by Rover in 2012. Kim then moved to Brit + Co. as Head of Product & Engineering. In 2019, they became Chairman of the Board at the Continuous Delivery Foundation. Finally, in 2021, they founded Chainguard, Inc. and currently serves as Founder/Product.
Kim Lewandowski attended Rochester Institute of Technology in 2003 and then transferred to Florida State University, where they earned a BS in Computer Science in 2006 and an MS in Computer Science in 2007.
