Matt Granato

Matt Granato is the Chief Operating Officer at Chalkboard. Matt has over fifteen years of experience in growth and venture capital.

Granato was previously with Touchdown Ventures, where they focused on early stage investments in sports, consumer internet, and media. Matt also served as the Growth lead at Via, a transportation technology company, and at SeatGeek, a digital marketplace that disrupted the ticket-buying experience.

Granato has a track record of success in growing companies and driving value creation. Matt is a strategic thinker and an expert in scaling operations and building high-performing teams.

Matt Granato attended Vanderbilt University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Human & Organizational Development, Financial Economics, and Corporate Strategy. Prior to that, they attended Shady Side Academy, where they earned a bachelors degree.

They are on a team with and Will Coomber - Chief Product Officer. Matt Granato reports to Ted Mauze, Chief Executive Officer. and Andrew Gaus - Growth & Content Lead reports to Matt Granato.
