Aaron Kinney

Aaron Kinney is a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive experience in pediatric specialty and operations management, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer for the Children's Specialty Group at Children's Wisconsin since March 2014. Aaron directs business and clinical operations for over 450 physicians and 250 advanced practice providers, overseeing strategic planning and program development across various locations. Prior roles include Executive Director of the Herma Heart Institute and Service Line Administrator at the Herma Heart Center, where Aaron transformed operational processes and enhanced employee engagement. Earlier career experience includes Division Administrator for Pediatric General Surgery and Urology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and a notable tenure in the U.S. Army, culminating in recognition with two Bronze Stars. Aaron holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and multiple advanced degrees in management and political science.
