Gerry Sargent

Corporate Vice President at Challenger, Gray & Christmas

Gerry Sargent has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. Gerry started their career as a Professor at Marquette University in 1972. Later, they worked as a Regional Vice President at Graebel Van Lines from 1975 to 1985. From 1985 to 1990, they served as President/Owner of Armstrong United Van Lines. In 1990, they joined Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc. as Corporate Vice President, where they directed all outplacement activity in Houston and Louisiana. Gerry also served as a Director with Challenger, Gray & Christmas Mexico. In 2000, they became a Board Member at Challenger Gray & Christmas KK Tokyo, Japan. Gerry'stenure in this role lasted until 2017.

Gerry Sargent began their education in 1963 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication. Gerry studied there until 1968. Later on, from 1970 to 1972, Sargent attended Kent State University, focusing their studies on Organizational Communication. During their time at Kent State, they pursued a Master of Arts degree and was a Ph.D. candidate in this field.
