Bryan Young is a multifaceted professional with significant contributions in music and technology. Currently serving as Bassoon Faculty at The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University, Young is also the Chair of the Board of Directors at Chamber Music America and the Board President at Candlelight Concert Society. As a Principal Software Engineer at Expel, Young utilizes over 25 years of expertise in cybersecurity. Additionally, Young holds positions as Principal Bassoonist with the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, a co-founder and bassoonist of the celebrated Poulenc Trio, and a board member of the Boulanger Initiative. Young's previous experience includes leadership roles at MITRE and Asymmetrik, focusing on healthcare technology and analytics. Young graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Music from The Peabody Institute and pursued further studies at Yale University.

Chamber Music America is the national service organization for ensemble music professionals. Our members are thousands of individual musicians, ensembles, presenters, artist managers, composers, educators and others in the national chamber music community. CMA serves the national ensemble music community by providing access to an array of professional resources and benefits, professional development seminars, grants and awards, and—through its National Conference and interactive website—opportunities to connect with musicians, presenters, managers and other chamber music professionals across the country.
