Jean-François Barsoum

President, Strategic Committee On Disruptive Technologies at Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal

Jean-François Barsoum serves as a Senior Innovation Executive at IBM, focusing on collaboration with Quebec universities to advance research in Quantum computing and Artificial Intelligence, while also engaging with the startup community to enhance its capabilities with AI and Quantum tools. In addition, Jean-François leads initiatives on environmental sustainability and transportation efficiency, holds the position of President of the Strategic Committee on Disruptive Technologies at the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal, and contributes to the Sustainable Mobility Policy Committee for the Quebec government. Furthermore, Jean-François has served as Board Chair for the Climate Reality Project Canada and Vice Chair for the Canadian Water Network. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Strategy and Human Resources from McGill University and an Honours B.A. in Sociology and Economics from Western University.
