Cathy Lee Chong

Cathy Lee Chong is an accomplished communications and marketing professional with a comprehensive background in strategic leadership across various educational institutions and media organizations. Currently serving as the Vice President of Communications and Marketing at Chaminade University of Honolulu since July 2025, Cathy develops and executes marketing strategies to enhance the university's brand and drive enrollment growth. Previous roles include Director of Donor Relations at the University of Hawaii Foundation and Assistant Vice President Communications at Chaminade University. Cathy also held significant positions at Hawaii Pacific University, Iolani School, KITV4 Island News, and other organizations, focusing on communication strategies, marketing initiatives, and community engagement. Cathy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Business from the University of Washington.
