Lance Askildson

Provost & SVP for Academic Affairs at Chaminade University of Honolulu

Lance Askildson is the current Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Chaminade University of Honolulu. Lance has also served as the Chairman for CIFAL Atlanta (United Nations Training Center) from July 2017 to April 2019. On the Board of Directors for CIFAL Atlanta, from July 2014 to July 2017, they were a member of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). From June 2013 to June 2019, they were the Vice-Provost, Chief International Officer & Professor of Linguistics at Kennesaw State University. Lance Askildson was also a Fellow at Kellogg Institute for International Studies from August 2009 to May 2012. In addition, they served as the Executive Secretary for International Association of Language Learning Technology from November 2008 to January 2013. As a Fellow at Nanovic Institute for European Studies, they contributed from November 2008 to May 2013.

Lance Askildson holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Arizona, an Academic Leadership Certificate (ND LEADS) from the University of Notre Dame, a Master’s Degree from Florida State University, and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

Lance Askildson reports to Lynn Babington, President. Sean Scanlan - Director, Doctor of Psychology Program, Gail Grabowsky - Dean, School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and William Rhey - Dean, School of Business & Communication report to Lance Askildson. They are on a team with Gary Cordova - VP, Advancement, Christine Denton - VP, Human Resources & Legal Affairs, and Edward Brink - VP for Mission & Rector.
