Kiel Gilleade

Kiel Gilleade is a seasoned research professional specializing in indoor climate and physiological computing. Currently serving as a Senior Research Engineer at the Champaign County Regional Planning Commission since July 2023, Kiel previously held the position of Research Engineer at the Illinois Applied Research Institute from February 2020 to June 2023, with both roles focused on indoor climate research. Kiel has experience as a Visiting Research Programmer at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications from August 2016 to August 2019 and worked as a Consultant and Software Developer in biofeedback technologies from July 2015 to March 2016. Additionally, Kiel co-founded and served as Chief Product Officer at Siren IVS from February 2015 to July 2015, and earlier, served as a Research Assistant at Liverpool John Moores University from October 2009 to December 2013, contributing to research in physiological computing.
