John Thomas (J.T.)

John Thomas (J.T.) has extensive work experience in various roles. John began their career in 2003 as an EMT-BASIC at Carle Foundation Hospital, where they worked until 2007. In 2003, they also joined the American Heart Association as a BLS Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor, where they ensured students were proficient in life-saving skills.

In 2007, Thomas became the Senior Pastor at GHT Outreach Ministries, where they preached and taught the word of God, uplifted hearts, and performed marriage ceremonies. Simultaneously, they served as the Business Manager for Noah I. Brown Sr. Gospel Artist, booking engagements and overseeing contracts.

Thomas joined Champaign Unit 4 Schools in 2008 as the Head Custodian. In this role, they ensured buildings were clean and met code requirements. John also worked as a motivational speaker, connecting with young people and delivering impactful messages. Additionally, they were actively involved in their role as a Pastor, imparting teachings and treating people with respect.

Most recently, in 2020, Thomas embarked on a new career path as a Book Author.

John Thomas (J.T.) attended Urbana High School from 1988 to 1991, where they earned their diploma in General Studies. Following high school, they enrolled in Parkland College from 1991 to 2003, obtaining a State License in Ems (Emergency Medical Services).
