Paula Shafer is an experienced educator and leader in Christian education, currently serving as a substitute teacher for Champaign Unit 4 Schools while completing the final semester of their seminary studies. With a strong background in supporting special education students, Paula has worked as a teacher aide for Cross-Cat SPED students and previously taught at-risk youth as a GED instructor at Lincoln's ChalleNGe Academy. Paula's dedication to youth development is further demonstrated through current leadership roles, including planning lessons for a youth group at Webb Chapel UMC. Paula's educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Multicultural Christian Education from Christian Theological Seminary and a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies from Eastern Illinois University. Additionally, Paula has experience in administrative support roles within the sales and insurance industries.
