Steve Gannaway has extensive experience in various driving and safety roles. Currently, Steve serves as a tandem truck driver at United Prairie, where responsibilities include transporting liquid and dry fertilizer to farm fields. From October 1995 until retirement, Steve held multiple positions at Champaign Urbana Mass Transit District, including driver, trainer, line instructor, and dispatcher. In addition, Steve volunteered as a public relations coordinator for Black Sapphire Equine Services from May 2017 to June 2021. Previous experience also includes roles as a public safety officer at Andy Frain Services and Valor Security Services, as well as serving as the firearms department manager at MC Sports, where Steve managed compliance with federal and state regulations for gun sales.
