Andreia Tavares

Strategic Research Development (grants Manager) at Champalimaud Foundation

Andreia Tavares is currently serving as a Grants Manager in Strategic Research Development at the Champalimaud Foundation since September 2019. Prior experience includes a PhD student role at ITQB-UNL from May 2013 to May 2019, where research focused on cell morphology and division in bacterial cells, alongside participation in science communication and bioentrepreneurship. Additionally, Andreia completed a visiting PhD student position at INRA French National Institute for Agricultural Research and held a Graduate Research Fellow position, specifically studying Staphylococcus aureus morphology and division. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Cell Biology and Biotechnology from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa and a post-graduation in Clinical Trials Monitoring from Universidade Lusófona.
