Champalimaud Foundation
Patricia Bastos Amador currently works as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Champalimaud Foundation since May 2022, focusing on the effects of maternal nutrition on fetal development and long-term health implications. Prior to this role, Patricia completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at both the Instituto Nacional De Saúde Dr Ricardo Jorge and the Champalimaud Foundation from May 2019 to May 2022, where research centered on the impact of hazardous chemical exposure during pregnancy and lactation on health risks. From April 2014 to April 2019, a Postdoctoral Fellowship was held at the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciencia. Patricia's academic background includes a Licenciatura in Biology from Universidad de Salamanca (2000-2005) and a Master's degree in Immunology from Universitat de Barcelona.
