Cansu Dinçer

Cansu Dinçer is a highly experienced researcher currently serving as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the University of Oxford since August 2025. Previously, Cansu worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Wellcome Sanger Institute from October 2020 to August 2025 and as a PhD Fellow at the same institution. Prior experience includes a training period at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) from June 2019 to August 2020 and a TUBITAK ARDEB Scholarship at Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi/Middle East Technical University from December 2017 to June 2019. Cansu also held a summer internship at Harvard Medical School in June 2014. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Biological Sciences from the University of Cambridge (2020-2024), a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi (2016-2019), and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the same university (2010-2016).
