Thomas Patterson is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in analog design and project management. Currently serving as a Product Engineer at Champion Aerospace since June 2011, Thomas specializes in designing exciters for jet engines while collaborating closely with customers to meet their specifications. Prior experience includes a decade at DRS Technologies where Thomas focused on analog design and power circuits, including developing a Flyback DC/DC converter for military standards. Earlier roles at Universal Lighting Technologies involved designing compact fluorescent ballasts, while experience at Lutron Electronics included conducting failure analysis and redesigning low power regulators. Thomas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and additional degrees from Armstrong State University and the University of Colorado Boulder.
