Matthew Balales

Matthew Balales has extensive experience in the sports media industry, currently serving as a Sports Commentator for SANFL since July 2022 and as a Data Collector for Champion Data since October 2018. Previous roles include Customer Service Officer and Data Entry Clerk at AccessPay Pty Ltd, Customer Service/Documentation Officer at Pacific Asia Express Pty Ltd, and Customer Service Representative at Datacom. Additionally, Matthew worked as a Stadium Reporter for InPlay Sports Data and as a Volunteer Broadcast Assistant and Broadcast and Digital Manager for Channel 44. Between 2016 and 2018, Matthew contributed as a Sports Writer for Daily Football Show and volunteered as a radio presenter/producer at Radio Adelaide. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Media, majoring in Journalism and Media, from the University of Adelaide.
