Cmrp David Krause

David Krause, CMRP, has over 20 years of work experience in various engineering roles. David began their career at ThyssenKrupp System Engineering, Inc. as a Mechanical Design Engineer in 2000, and later moved on to ThyssenKrupp System Engineering GmbH in 2001. In 2002, they became an R&M Engineer at ThyssenKrupp System Engineering, Inc., where they performed and coordinated activities to develop assembly concepts for assembly stations and lines. In 2006, they joined Graphic Packaging International as a Reliability Engineer, responsible for developing and implementing reliability plans and programs. David'snext role was at Hormel Foods in 2008, where they served as a Reliability Engineer and later as a Superintendent of Maintenance & Engineering. In these positions, they focused on improving equipment and process reliability, implementing proactive work methods, and leading continuous improvement efforts. Currently, they are the Director of Engineering at Champion Foods LLC, where they utilize their expertise in plant engineering and leadership skills.

David Krause, CMRP, has a strong educational background in engineering and maintenance and reliability. David obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Maintenance and Reliability Engineering from Monash University from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Oakland University from 2005 to 2006, where they pursued Engineering Management. David completed their undergraduate studies at Ferris State University, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Product Design Engineering from 1996 to 2000. Additionally, they obtained an Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ferris State University from 1996 to 1998.

Moreover, David Krause pursued further certifications to enhance their expertise. David became a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) in November 2008 from the Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP). In September 2011, they obtained the MLA II – Level 2 Machinery Lubrication Analyst certification from the International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML). Previously, in October 2010, they earned the CARO - Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator certification from the Refrigerating Engineers & Technicians Association. Additionally, in June 2010, David Krause acquired the MLT1 – Level 1 Machinery Lubrication Technician certification from the ICML.
