Frank Smith, Ph.D, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Frank started their career at Charles River Laboratories as a Sr. Technician and later moved on to become an Associate II in Process Validation. In 2009, they joined Temple University as a Graduate Student and completed their studies in 2013. Following that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania for a year. In 2014, they joined GSK as a Biochemistry Technical Lead, gradually moving up the ladder to become an Analytical Support Supervisor and then a Manager in Analytical Support. Since 2019, Frank has been working at Champions Oncology, Inc., initially as a Director of Business Development, and later as the Senior Director responsible for East Coast Business Development. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Business Development for the US East and Europe regions at Champions Oncology, Inc.

Frank Smith, Ph.D, MBA has an extensive education history. Frank began their academic pursuits in 2002 at Rowan University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology in 2006. Following this, they attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania from 2007 to 2009, earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biology.

Driven by a passion for research, Smith pursued further education at Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine. From 2009 to 2013, they worked towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology. During this time, they acquired in-depth expertise in these fields.

To broaden their knowledge and skills in business, Smith attended Villanova University from 2015 to 2018, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree. This degree provided him with essential business acumen and strategic thinking.
