Malaika Dower

Malaika Dower currently serves as Associate Director and Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network since April 2023. Previously, Malaika held the position of Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Aktana from November 2020 to July 2022, and worked at Santen as Sr. HR Business Partner, focusing on Employee Engagement from May 2017 to November 2020. At Santen, responsibilities included strategic organizational design, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives. Earlier experience includes diverse roles at Wechsler & Cohen, LLP from 2004 to 2016, where Malaika managed HR functions and operations, as well as served as HR Project Coordinator for the Caribbean Studies Association in 2006. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of California, Berkeley.
