Carrie Maynard

Carrie Frederici is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Chan Zuckerberg Initiative since January 2022, Carrie focuses on transforming the education system to improve student outcomes. Previously, as Director of Engineering at Mandolin and Salesforce, Carrie delivered critical projects, including GDPR compliance and enhanced data management solutions, while leading initiatives to improve product quality and scalability. Earlier roles include Principal Software Engineer at Aprimo, where Carrie contributed to enterprise software development, and Management Consultant at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, providing IT consulting across various industries. Carrie holds a B.S. in Computer Information Technology from Purdue University.
