Dakarai I. Aarons is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education policy, philanthropy, and strategic communications. Currently serving as Senior Director of Employee Philanthropy Programs at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Dakarai I. Aarons launched and oversees programs that enhance employee volunteerism and giving. Previous roles at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative included leadership in education policy and partnerships, where efforts centered on increasing diversity in the education workforce and improving student access to technology. As Founder of the Aarons Family Giving Fund, Dakarai I. Aarons supports various initiatives in journalism, democracy, education, and civil rights.
