Wendy Nance

Wendy Nance is currently the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources at Chandler Unified School District. Wendy has been with Chandler Unified School District since 1999 and has held various positions within the district. Prior to their current position, Wendy served as the Assistant Principal at Phoenix Preparatory Academy from July 1996 to June 1999. Wendy's duties at Phoenix Preparatory Academy included experience in personnel, discipline, community relations, curriculum, assessment, federal programs, special education, intervention programs, technology, and strategic programming.

Before their time at Chandler Unified School District, Wendy served as the Assistant Principal at Yuma School District One from July 1991 to June 1993. Wendy was also a kindergarten and sixth grade teacher during their time at Yuma School District One. Wendy has experience in instructional planning and implementation, curriculum, assessment, classroom management, special education, and professional learning communities. Wendy also participated in administrative duties including budget, curriculum development and implementation, discipline, assessment, and special programming. During their time at Yuma School District One, Wendy assisted with the opening of a new elementary school. Wendy has also presented community and parent presentations related to Year Round Calendar.

Wendy Nance has a Doctor of Education from Northern Arizona University in Educational Leadership, a Master of Arts from University of Phoenix in Educational Administration and Supervision, and a Bachelor of Arts from Arizona State University in Elementary Education.
