Dr Matt Hodge

Dr. Matt Hodge currently serves as the Deputy Principal at Chanel College since January 2022 and as Casual Academic Staff at Southern Cross University since July 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Principal for Senior Years at Our Lady of the Southern Cross College and Acting Principal at St. Joseph’s School within Toowoomba Catholic Schools from January 2019 to December 2021. Previously, Dr. Hodge held various positions at Whitsunday Anglican School, including Head of Service & Global Learning and Service Learning Coordinator, from January 2008 to December 2018. Dr. Hodge's educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education from Southern Cross University and a Graduate Diploma in Theological Studies from Australian Catholic University, complemented by a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and a Graduate Certificate of Theology from Charles Sturt University, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) and a Bachelor of Arts in Indigenous Australian Studies from James Cook University.
