Gustaf Buttar

Gustaf Buttar's work experience begins in 2007 as a Laborer/Engineering Intern at PotashCorp. In 2008, they worked as an Intern - Surveyor at Kinross Gold Corporation. Gustaf then interned at Lafarge in 2009. From 2010 to 2011, Buttar participated in the Lafarge Leadership Development Program, gaining experience as a Quarry Supervisor, Plant Supervisor, Environmental Representative, and Lab Technician. Gustaf continued working at Lafarge as a Plant Supervisor from 2011 to 2014, with additional responsibilities in site health and safety, production, and environmental management. From 2014 to 2018, Buttar served as the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager at Bluegrass Materials Company, LLC. Gustaf then joined Martin Marietta in 2018 as a Senior Environmental Engineer until 2023. In January 2023, Buttar became the Director of Environmental, Health & Safety at Chaney Enterprises.

Gustaf Buttar attended Queen's University from 2007 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering.
