David Ruhl

Weatherization Manager at CHANGE

David Ruhl has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1980 when they worked as a Porter at Dunkin Donuts. In 1982 they joined the US Army as a Material Storage and Handling Specialist, where they loaded and unloaded tractor trailers, railroad cars, and aircraft, and managed a high security storage area. In 1991 they became a Department Manager at Action Home Center, where they trained, supervised, and evaluated personnel, conducted inventories, and managed customer returns and complaints. In 1994 they became a District Service Manager at UniFirst Corporation, where they trained, supervised, and evaluated six route salesman and one route supervisor, and collected for past due invoices. In 1999 they became a Route Manager at Matco Tools, where they sold tools, set up credit accounts, collected money, processed returns, placed special orders, maintained a display truck, and performed inventory control. In 2001 they became a Systems Technician at Security Systems of America, where they installed, programmed, tested, and serviced various security, fire, access control, intercom, CCTV, home theaters, surround sound, and home automation systems. In 2005 they became a Weatherization Manager at CHANGE, Inc., where they managed the Weatherization Assistance Program for the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia. David was also an EPA Certified Lead Renovator Instructor and a Licensed Journeyman Electrician, and their duties included the weatherization of residential homes.

David Ruhl attended Norwin Senior High School from 1980 to 1982 and studied Warehousing.
