Jim Hume is the Director of Public Affairs and Communications at Support in Mind Scotland, where Jim also convenes the National Rural Mental Health Forum. Jim serves as the National Rural Mental Health Forum Convener and Senior Advisor at The Scottish Parliament, where Jim is also the Secretary of the Scottish Parliament’s Former Members’ Association. Additionally, Jim is a Non-Executive Director at SRUC and has held various positions at different organizations such as The Broomhouse Centre & Enterprises, Westminster Foundation for Democracy, and NFU Scotland. Prior to their current roles, Jim Hume was a Member of the Scottish Parliament and Partner at John Hume and Son, a farming partnership. Jim holds an MBA from the University of Edinburgh Business School and is a Member of CIM.
