Hilary Newland

Hilary Newland has over a decade of experience in human resources and people management, currently serving as Director of HR at Change.org since February 2014, following roles including Manager of HR and Senior Learning Specialist. Prior to this, Hilary held the position of Manager of People and Culture at inPowered, where responsibilities encompassed a hybrid role while pursuing a Master's degree in Organization Development from the University of San Francisco. Earlier experience includes positions at LoopNet as Managed Services Account Manager and Territory Sales Representative, and at Zopa as a Member Services Representative, focusing on client engagement and service utilization. Hilary holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley.
