Sahar Hashemi OBE is a distinguished entrepreneur and business leader, currently serving as Co-Founder of BUY WOMEN BUILT and a Member of the Board of Advisors for Curaden Global, both roles held since 2022 and 2023 respectively. In addition, Hashemi holds positions as a Non Executive Director at ScaleUp Institute since 2018 and an Advisory Board Member for Change Please since 2016. Previous roles include Board Member for THE HUNDRED at the England & Wales Cricket Board from 2018 to 2021, Co-Chair of the Scale Up Taskforce for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy from 2017 to 2018, and Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum from 2005 to 2015. Hashemi is the founder of Skinny Candy, which was sold to Glisten plc in 2007, and co-founded Coffee Republic in 1995. Additionally, Hashemi authored the bestselling book "ANYONE CAN DO IT." Educational background includes completing an Executive Education program at Harvard Kennedy School and obtaining an LLB hons degree in Law from the University of Bristol.
