Joey Rubin has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Joey began their career as a Copywriter at Que Content, where they conceptualized and executed marketing and advertising campaigns. Joey then worked as a Digital Marketing Specialist at BritBox LLC and Baskin-Robbins At Home, where they created original content for social media platforms.

Joey also served as a Lecturer and Program Assistant at the University of Wyoming, where they taught and assisted in program coordination.

In 2016, they joined Senders as a Lead Conversion Copywriter, specializing in lead generation email writing for B2B cold outreach. Joey achieved a significant reply rate across various industries through A/B testing.

From 2019 to 2022, Joey worked at Teach For America in multiple roles. As Director of Program, they strategized and designed courses for different stakeholders and oversaw various training programs. Joey also served as the Manager of Program Experience in the Las Vegas regional office, where they developed and implemented career development curriculum for early-career educators. Prior to that, they worked as an Educator (Corps Member) at a high school, leading seniors to achieve a record-high graduation rate.

Joey's experience includes working as a Digital Marketing Consultant for RxDiet, where they collaborated with design and development teams to enhance the app's user experience and outreach. Joey also worked at Jobsity as a Digital Marketing Consultant, contributing to SEO-enriched blog content creation and inbound traffic growth.

Most recently, Joey joined Reforge as a Member Experience Strategy Lead, focusing on enhancing member experiences within the organization. Joey is currently working at ChangeEngine as a Customer Learning & Enablement professional.

Joey Rubin has a diverse and extensive education history. Joey attended Woodbridge High School from 1996 to 2000, completing their high school education. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature at Reed College, where they studied from 2000 to 2004.

Joey continued their academic journey by enrolling at the University of Oxford in 2002, focusing on English Literature for a year. Following this, they pursued a Master of Research degree in Humanities and Cultural Studies at Birkbeck, University of London, from 2009 to 2010.

In 2012, Joey joined the University of Wyoming and obtained a Master of Fine Art (MFA) degree in Creative Writing in 2014. Joey followed this by pursuing a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from 2014 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Joey has also acquired various certifications. In 2007, they attained the TEFL certification from i-to-i Online TEFL. Later, in 2018, they received a Certificate in Adult Learning from Teach For America.

To further enhance their professional skills, Joey obtained several certifications in 2021 and 2023. These include the Content Marketing Foundations, Lead Generation Foundations, and Lead Generation: Social Media certifications from LinkedIn. Joey also completed The Game Changer certification from Exos and the First Round Recruiter Track certification from First Round Capital.
