Emily Finkel has a diverse work experience background. Emily is currently working at ChangeLab Solutions, starting as an HR & Operations Associate in April 2017 before progressing to HR & Operations Administrator in August 2018, then HR Manager in February 2020, and finally Human Resources Director in July 2023. Emily also held roles at Acta Non Verba Youth Urban Farm Project as a Production Manager from March 2014 to August 2014, Oakland Food Connection as Program Director: Community Food Access from February 2013 to November 2013, Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems as an Apprentice in Ecological Horticulture from April 2012 to October 2012, Beach Elementary School as a Special Education Paraeducator from January 2012 to April 2012, Presidio Trust as a Compost & Community Gardens Intern from January 2011 to November 2011, and Center for Environmental Health as a Sustainable Electronics Intern from November 2010 to January 2011.
Emily Finkel attended Oberlin College from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies. In November 2021, they also received a certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from HRCI.
