Clare Nasir

Clare Nasir is a seasoned professional in environmental science and communication, with over thirty years of experience. Currently serving as a Senior Producer/Presenter and Senior Broadcaster at the Met Office since January 2016, Clare combines a robust educational background, including a BSc in Maths and an MSc in Oceanography, with extensive expertise in broadcast media. Clare holds additional roles as a Communications Specialist with Green Executives and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), delivering climate change expertise and supporting clean energy initiatives. Clare's previous work includes being a weather anchor at Channel 5 and various communications specialist roles, alongside authoring children’s books focused on weather and environmental themes.
