Curtis Wiklund has been involved in a variety of professional roles since 2007. In 2011, they received a full-ride to the University of Michigan to pursue a masters degree, based on their research proposal that future storytellers would need to be able to tell their stories live. In 2020, they founded Channels to help studios and artists on the internet, believing in a future where the gap between audiences and artists shrinks dramatically. Prior to founding Channels, Curtis and their wife co-ran a photography business traveling the world, learning the art of "Make Art Make Money".
Curtis Wiklund obtained a Masters degree in Media Arts from the University of Michigan between 2011 and 2013. Curtis also obtained a BFA in Performing Arts Technology - (Visual Arts) from the University of Michigan between 2006 and 2010.
