Tom Jemson

Tom Jemson is a Senior Associate and Senior Solicitor at Chapman Tripp, specialising in corporate and securities law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and capital raisings since November 2021. Prior to this role, Tom worked as an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP and served as a Senior Solicitor at Chapman Tripp between February 2014 and September 2021, advising clients on corporate and commercial transactions. Tom's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Residential Assistant and Economics Tutor at the University of Otago. Tom holds a First Class LLB (Hons) and a BSc in Economics from the University of Otago, completed in 2013, and attended Waimea College from 2004 to 2008.
