Russell Maitland

Russell Maitland is an experienced fire service professional currently serving as Deputy Fire Coordinator and CFI-Westchester County Fire Instructor at the Westchester County Department of Emergency Services since June 2021. Maitland also serves as a Fire Inspector for the Village of Dobbs Ferry and has a long-standing role with the NYS Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Services as an SFI-NYS Fire Instructor. Since February 1982, Maitland has held various titles at the Chappaqua Fire Department, including Chief and NYS Code Enforcement Official, and has earned multiple certifications, including Nationally Certified Fire Officer III and NYS Certified Fire Investigator. Previous experience includes positions as Fire Inspector at the New Rochelle Fire Department and the Town of Greenburgh, NY. Maitland holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Skidmore College, obtained between 1984 and 1988.
