Juan A. Deleon

Juan A. DeLeon, J.D., CHC has extensive work experience in compliance and quality roles. Juan A. currently holds the position of VP Compliance & Quality at Chapters Health System since 2023. Prior to this, they served as VP-Compliance, Privacy and HIM at Operation PAR, Inc. from 2018 to 2023. Juan A. also held the position of Compliance Officer at Operation PAR, Inc. from 2018 to 2021.

Before joining Operation PAR, Inc., Juan worked as the Director of Compliance and Quality at Continental Benefits in 2017-2018. Juan A. also served as a Compliance Officer at HealthPlan Services from 2014 to 2017, and at Hospice by the Sea from 2012 to 2014. Juan A. was the Director of Compliance at Sanare LLC (BrightSky) in 2011-2012 and the Director, Corporate Compliance at Centra from 2009 to 2011.

Juan started their career as an Assistant Clerk of Courts at Norfolk Superior Court from 1998 to 2004. Juan A. then transitioned into various compliance roles, including Manager, Compliance Auditing at WellCare in 2007-2009 and Legal Compliance Manager at PharMerica in 2006-2007.

Overall, Juan has a strong background in compliance and quality management, with experience in healthcare organizations and legal compliance.

Juan A. DeLeon, J.D., CHC attended Cranbrook Kingswood High School from 1984 to 1987, where they obtained a Diploma. Later, they attended Columbia University from 1987 to 1991 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology. Juan A. then pursued a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law at Suffolk University Law School from 1995 to 1999.
