Abdel Smires

Abdel Smires has worked in a variety of roles in the technology and education industries. From 1995 to 1997, they were a Computer Science Professor at ESIAC School of Commerce in Morocco. During this time, they lectured and conducted labs on topics such as relational database design and implementation, web design, and more. In 1997, they became the Owner and President of New Production & Communication, a business specializing in Internet development and media services. From 1999 to 2001, they worked as a Computer Science Professor at Queens College. In 2001, they began working as a Mathematics Professor at SUNY College at Old Westbury. In 2003, they joined CHARGE Anywhere as the Vice President of Information Technology and Tech Lead (Project Manager) / Database Architect. In these roles, they were responsible for participating in orienting CHARGE Anywhere IT and Business strategies, directing a multitude of Internet based Applications, supervising trainings on development platforms and programming languages, designing and implementing the CHARGE Anywhere Billing System, and more.

Abdel Smires obtained a Masters & Advanced Studies degree in Information Technology and Robotics from Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France between 1989 and 1995.
