Shalabh Gupta

Shalabh Gupta's work experience includes roles at C4V and Ames Laboratory. At C4V, they are currently working as a System Engineering Manager, starting in June 2022. At Ames Laboratory, they held various positions from 2007 to 2022. These roles included Associate Scientist (Scientist II) from June 2015 to July 2022, Assistant Scientist (Scientist I) from April 2011 to June 2015, and Post Doctoral Associate from April 2007 to June 2011. Shalabh'sresponsibilities at Ames Laboratory included hydrogen storage research, mechanochemistry, processing of complex metal hydrides, characterization, synthesis of metal-organic framework structures, grant proposal development, mentoring researchers, and investigation of hydrogen storage properties of various compounds. Additionally, they contributed to the discovery and analysis of novel intermetallic compounds.

Shalabh Gupta completed their education with a focus on chemistry. Shalabh obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physical and Materials Chemistry from Banaras Hindu University, from 1998 to 2000. Shalabh then pursued a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Analytical Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, starting in 2001 and finishing in 2007. Additionally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry, specializing in Solid-State and Inorganic Chemistry, also from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, between 2002 and 2007.
