Heather Birdsall

VP, Community Relations at Los Angeles Chargers

Heather Birdsall is the VP of Community Relations at the Los Angeles Chargers. Heather previously served as the Director of the Smart Justice & Business Education Coalitions at the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce from December 2015 to May 2018. In this role, Heather worked to dismantle the school-to-prison pipeline and support access to high-quality education and job training for those with criminal records.

Prior to their work at the Chamber of Commerce, Heather was the Corporate Social Responsibility Manager at Ross Stores, Inc. from April 2014 to September 2015. In this role, Heather managed Ross Stores' investment in youth programs that aimed to build competence, confidence and character. Heather also oversaw Ross Stores' engagement of associate-volunteers and charitable contributions.

Heather began their career as an MBA Intern in the Foundation & Corporate Affairs department at Alcoa in September 2012. Heather held this position until November 2012.

Heather Birdsall has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with a focus in economics, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Heather also has a Bachelor of Arts from James Madison University, where they studied political science and political communication. Heather began their educational career at Robert E. Lee High School.
