Brian Wieland has over 10 years of professional experience. In 2011, they began their career as a Correctional Officer IV at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, where they provided supervision, care, and correctional treatment of inmates. In 2017, they joined The Laptop Specialist as a Desktop Support Technician. In 2019, they moved to Rackspace Technology as a Customer Service Escalation Technician, providing fanatical technical support to Rackspace customers. In 2021, they joined Zones, LLC as an Office 365 Premier Support Engineer II, serving as the lead technician and main point of contact for technical support tickets raised by Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies. Currently, they are a Product Support Consultant at Chargify.

Brian Wieland is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, which they began in 2022. Prior to this, Brian obtained a Linux System Administration/Networking certification from Rackspace Open Cloud Academy in 2019. Brian also holds certifications in Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) from Red Hat, CompTIA Network+ from CompTIA, and CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA, which they obtained in 2019, 2019, and 2021 respectively. Before that, Brian obtained an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts Concentration in Business Administration from San Antonio College between 2014 and 2016.
